Leen Voet (born 1971) incorporates triggers from cultural, personal and historical contexts with subtle humour in programmatically designed series of paintings, installations and drawings. Leen Voet takes a voyeuristic perspective on life, painting and artistry and reflects on the stereotypical and local, on the autonomy of the individual and on origins and provenance.
