Gerard Herman’s (Ghent, °1989) work cannot be categorized in one single medium. His spontaneous and multifaceted art deals with broad social issues, though he usually does this with the requisite dose of poetry, naïve and absurdist humour, and his work is consequently very accessible. His first solo exhibition, hosted by M, presents not only new graphical works and installations, but also sound compositions and a radio studio where an episode of Herman’s programme Vogelen des Velds will be recorded every month.
