His work tackles themes such as the representation of the Black body, the tension between individual and collective identities, and the role of images in (de)colonization. Growing up in a bicultural environment with Senegalese, Dutch, and Belgian roots, Tall draws on his personal experiences to challenge and scrutinize societal and cultural conventions.

His previous projects include an ongoing photographic exploration of club culture, a performance celebrating the African tradition of hair braiding, and the short film 'Tukuleur', in which a character navigates their place within Western society and public space.
During his M-residency, Tall will work on transforming his photographic, cinematic, and performative creations into installations. He will also explore the physical effects of musical vibrations on the body.
