How can I register for the M-bassador activities?

There is an online registration form for each M-bassador activity. There is always an up-to-date overview of all activities here. Be sure to keep an eye on the monthly M-bassador newsletter, which you will receive automatically as an M-bassador.

How can I update my address or customer data?

You can update your data by sending an email to mbassadeurs@mleuven.be.

I have another question. Who can I contact?

You can contact us at mbassadeurs@mleuven.be.

What changes will there be to the M-bassadors programme?

We aim to develop a community programme that evolves from an exclusive, paid membership to an inclusive programme. The intention is to anchor M Leuven even more firmly in the city of Leuven. We want to do this by reaching and involving even more residents.

Why is the M-bassador programme hanging?

The strong rise of the Museum Pass and stagnation in membership growth means that we are adjusting the structure of the friends programme. We strive for an inclusive programme for all residents of Leuven.

When will these changes be implemented?

The new programme will come into effect in June 2026.

How will the current programme work between June 2025 and June 2026?

The membership of the current M-bassadors (as it stands now) will continue until June 2026. Your membership will be automatically renewed until June 2026 and you can continue to enjoy:
- Unlimited access to M
- Invitations to all M vernissages
- Guided tours and activities
- Discounts

Can new M-bassadors join between June 2025 and June 2026?

It is not possible to join as an M-bassador between June 2025 and June 2026.

What if we would like to continue supporting M financially?

Then we would like to refer you to the M-art patron membership and the M-LIFE museum fund, which allow you to support exhibitions, scientific research, social projects and artists.

Will there be any changes to the M-art patron programme?

There will be no changes to the M-art patron programme.

What if my Museum pass expires?

You can simply renew it in M. This will not affect your M-bassador membership.

What will happen to the M card?

The M card will be discontinued on 22 June 2025. The Museum pass, which gives you access to M and more than 200 other museums in Belgium for one year, is a great alternative.

Who can current M-bassadors contact if they have questions about this?

You can contact us at mbassadeurs@mleuven.be

About the current M-bassador memberships

Do I support M as an M-bassador?

Definitely! As an M-bassador, you are our first line of contact with the audience of M. As a friend of M, we consider you an important sounding board. We tell each other what we are doing. We talk about our plans and dreams. Thanks to your involvement and participation in the activity programme, it is also an important showcase. As an M-bassador you are also an ambassador for the museum.

Do you too want to support M financially? Then you can make an additional donation to the M-LIFE museum fund. From €40 your donation is tax deductible and helps M realise projects such as restorations, support of artists and educational activities. You can find all the information you need on mlife.be.

My M-bassador membership expires in May, but museumPASSmusées runs until December. What should I do?

That is not a problem at all. Your M-bassador membership does not have to have the same start date and/or expiry date as your museumPASSmusées.
